The Alaska Department of Health recently commissioned Milliman to analyze the state's behavioral health crisis continuum of care amid rising suicide rates, overdoses, and increased mental health needs nationwide. This report provides an overview of the current state of behavioral health crisis service delivery in Alaska, highlighting areas of opportunity, as the state looks to increase access to behavioral health crisis care in all communities. The report focuses on mobile crisis response and crisis stabilization facilities. We discuss:
