Jennifer has worked with a number of UK insurers on a wide variety of projects, notably several independent reviews and a range of risk management assignments.
Jennifer currently assists on a with-profits actuary supervisory role, which includes reviewing the appropriateness of the bonus recommendations, assessing whether the business has been managed in line with the relevant Principles and Practices of Financial Management and ensuring fair management of the with-profits business.
Jennifer has been involved in several roles working with the UK regulators, including supporting the Skilled Person on a substantial Section 166 assignment and working with clients on their Solvency II approvals applications. She has also worked on several insurance transactions, including supporting the Independent Expert on a Part VII transfer of annuity business between two large UK insurance companies. More recently, Jennifer has supported the independent actuary in assessing appropriate terms for the transfer of a large block of non-profit business out of the with-profits fund of a large multinational insurer.
Jennifer has extensive experience assisting clients with their financial reporting on a variety of reporting metrics, and is part of the Milliman team that comprises the outsourced actuarial function of a large unit-linked pensions provider.
Jennifer has also been involved in a range of governance and risk management projects, including the production and review of a client’s ORSA report, a review of market and liquidity risk reporting in the UK insurance market, and an independent review of key policies within a client’s System of Governance. Jennifer is a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries’ IFRS 17: Transversal working party.
