Ankur Jain
Ankur Jain is a consulting actuary in Milliman’s Dublin office. Ankur joined the Dublin practice in 2020.
Experience
Ankur’s experience is primarily in the life assurance field for both the European and Asian markets.
His expertise includes valuation and financial reporting, Solvency II, business planning, capital management, embedded value, actuarial model development and maintenance, and other consulting work.
He has been involved in a number of strategic projects to accelerate growth and profitability of insurance companies and has assisted the senior management to take key strategic decisions to drive growth.
He has extensive experience in actuarial transformation programmes, helping insurers in transformation of actuarial functions across entities and geographies.
Ankur has significant experience in financial reporting. He has led teams on quarterly and annual statutory valuations, actual and forecasted P&L attributions, and capital projections.
He has experience working on a range of life insurance products, including unit linked, non-linked savings and protection, and with-profits.
He has authored a research paper on the loss absorbing capacity of deferred taxes within the Solvency II framework, and is actively involved in other research initiatives within Milliman.
