Current Responsibility

Jennifer is a qualified consultant within the Milliman life practice, based in the London office. She joined Milliman from university in September 2011, and qualified in 2014.


Since joining Milliman, Jennifer has worked on a wide variety of actuarial projects, included regulatory reporting assignments, risk management models and research projects.

Jennifer has worked on the regular actuarial function holder process for both proprietary and mutual clients. This involved producing basis recommendations, carrying out experience analyses and validating the valuation calculations.

She has also developed her MG-ALFA knowledge whilst working on an actuarial systems transformation for a major UK life insurer, carrying out testing of the model.

Jennifer has had significant exposure working on risk management models and their accompanying documentation. She has worked on numerous projects with regards to the modelling, documenting and reporting of risk, using Bayesian networks, cognitive mapping techniques and statistical computer programming in R. Jennifer has presented her risk management knowledge to a range of audiences, including at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries Life Conference in 2016.

Jennifer has applied her modelling knowledge for a diverse range of projects. These include modelling the asset returns of various markets, supply and demand of commodities, operational risk, risk appetite, regulatory capital and forecasting lapse rates.

Jennifer has recently undertaken a research project investigating the link between social trends, internal company data and lapse rate assumptions.

Jennifer is on both the charity and social committees at Milliman.
